Winter Sowing Native Wildflowers
-
February 20, 2025
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
During this class you will learn about native wildflowers, how to grow them using the ‘Winter Sowing’ method, and complete a hands-on activity during class. All materials are provided, and you will go home with your own ‘mini-greenhouse’ planted with wildflowers (then all you have to do is wait for spring)! Before we get our hands dirty, we will also overview garden site preparation and proper planting techniques.
If you’re interested in planting a native pollinator garden, or would like to learn an easy way to add more biodiversity to your existing space, this class is for you!
Registration Includes
Students will go home with at least one mini-greenhouse planted with native wildflower seeds.
