Haley Diem

Haley Diem moved to Duluth in 2019 and graduated from UMD with a Master’s of Environmental Education in 2022, specializing in garden-based education with children. She has experience as a farmer and teacher, and combined the fields to become a Garden Specialist: teaching all 2nd graders in Duluth Public schools about the Vegetable of the Year, and coaching teachers across the Midwest in how to grow native wildflowers with their students. She is an avid supporter of the Duluth Community Garden Program, and the Duluth Folk School (currently serving as a board member at both organizations!).
