Natural Dyes
June 24, 2017
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
You’ve chopped down the tansy, pulled the buckthorn, and trimmed the poplars. Now what do you do with it all?
In this class, you’ll learn things like how to turn this invasive, unwelcome buckthorn…

…into beautiful colors like this!

We will experiment with natural dye materials you can find in your own back yard and garden, learn how to prepare different dyes, and learn how to use modifiers to expand the range of colors. If there’s time and interest, we’ll wander through the woods a bit to identify a few natural materials you can use
