Have you ever dreamed of having a backyard chicken flock, but gotten overwhelmed with where to start? In this class, participants will learn the basics of chicken keeping and plan out their flock dreams!
Learn about chicken anatomy, different chicken breeds, what to feed them, basic coop requirements, common chicken health issues, and more. This class will provide the tools and resources to support first time chicken keepers or soon to be chicken keepers into confidently adding lay hens to their lives.
Participants will leave the class with a plan for adding feather friends to their lives and enough knowledge to keep your flock healthy and happy. Participants will also make a few herbal remedies for chicken health to start their poultry first aid kit.

You will go home with a flock planning guide and a few herbal remedies to add to your poultry first aid kit.
