Natural and Organic Lotions: The truth is in the labels

Commercial liquid lotions contain ingredients that dilute the effectiveness of oils applied to preserve skin. In this course we will discuss which oils we use, alternatives that can be substituted, and how to combine ingredients to make a luxurious lotion that smells great, and is top shelf quality.

You will make a scented lotion with all oils and waxes sourced from sustainable and trusted sources, which support small communities, here and abroad.

We’ll talk about the techniques and processes to combine our chosen oils and waxes and how to dispense them into containers of your choice. You will create two 2½ oz. lotions of your choice (and one container of lip balm), that you will have made in class!

Registration Includes

You will leave with two 2½ oz tins of lotion, and one container of lip balm, that you will have prepared yourself.
