Make your own lightly fermented Ginger Ale! Using ingredients purchased from the local co-op and home brew store, we will learn how to brew and ferment this delicious, easy-to-make beverage.
We will create a basic ginger ale and sample several variations. Students will learn the ins and outs of fermentation, and learn how to apply this knowledge to concoct an infinite array of lightly fermented beverages.
Registration Includes
Instruction and all materials are provided. Participants have the opportunity to taste several varieties of home-made ginger ales, and will receive recipes for similar beverages.
What goes into our class pricing? As a local nonprofit, Duluth Folk School is committed to supporting both our instructors and community. We want to compensate our instructors fairly, keep class sizes small, and keep our doors open—while also keeping prices as low as we can.

- Best for Ages: 18 and older.
- You should bring: You don’t need to bring anything but some students like to bring a notebook and something to write with.
