Introduction to Acrylic Landscape Painting
-
May 17, 2025
9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Students will learn to create an acrylic landscape painting from an image of their choosing. Kyle will lead students through the process in a very deliberate way, explaining the purpose of each layer from start to finish. Each student will get to bring home an extra canvas panel to paint at home.
The course is 3 hours with time to pre-coat, sketch from a grid, paint broad strokes and fine details, finish the canvas with an acrylic varnish and add hanging hardware.
Registration Includes
Registration includes all instruction and required materials ($88 value). Provided materials for the course include: 1 12”x16” Gallery wrapped canvas, brushes, paint rag, Nova Acrylic paints, a palette knife, paint storage container and an acrylic palette. The painting you make will be yours to keep as well as a 16”x20” canvas panel to paint at home. You will also receive a list of the course materials as a guide to buy anything you might need to be able to paint at home.
