Kyle James

Kyle James has called Duluth home for the last 15 years, getting his BFA in Graphic Design from UMD. He is also a business owner and Tattooer at Voyageur Tattoo Co located in the upstairs of the Duluth Folk School and Dovetail Cafe. He’s always been an avid artist of many mediums and styles. From canvas, to paper, to clothing he enjoys every type of painting and drawing he can get his hands on. Also an avid woodworker, he finds himself building Timberframe structures on his homestead and teaching timber framing in his free time. Kyle is a foster parent as well with his wife and business partner Charlie James. Their foster daughter has been living with them for 3 years and they do their best to give her the life they wished they’d had as children. Kyle also stays busy with three dogs, a cat and 30+ chickens on their 6 acre Duluth homestead.
