Canadian smocking is a hand stitching technique that creates a unique and beautiful folded design on the front of the fabric. Here’s an example of a plain piece of fabric that has been smocked:

You can use your smocked fabric to turn ordinary objects into things of beauty!

As you can see, your imagination is the only limitation to how you can use your smocked fabric!

Registration Includes

Instruction and fun in a small class size. You’ll learn the basics of this smocking technique, and you’ll learn three different patterns (braid, arrows, and flowers), and go home with a sampler of designs.

No prior experienced required

Best for Ages…

13 years or older

You should bring…

If you have them, bring your hand sewing needles, quilting thread, scissors and thimble. If you don’t have these, we’ll have some extras on hand.
