Beading with Binesi Kwe

Learn the ancient art of beadwork applique! The class will make a keychain using an agate cabochon and one needle beadwork applique.

Here is an example of the type of keychain you will leave with:

While we bead, you’ll hear some of the stories and culture of beading in our region. We will also talk about the different types of materials used: beads, needles, etc, and how to expand on some of these basic ideas and let your imagination soar! (Osha Washko Binesi Kwe is Jen’s Indian name given to her, and it means Thunderbird Spirit Woman).
