Apparel Construction 101: Reading & Understanding a Pattern

We have a new class open for registration!

So you’ve got a sewing machine. You’ve mastered threading it and can handle a straight and zig-zag stitch, but want to know more about how to make your own clothing. This is the class for you! In this class, you will learn how to measure for a proper fit, read and understand a pattern, how to lay fabric out, how to properly pin and assemble pieces. We will be looking at an extremely easy pattern and you will be able to leave with a finished pair of comfy fleece or flannel pants!
