Duluth Folk School Instructor Tasha Griffith

Tasha Miller Griffith

I grew up in a family of makers and tinkerers, and I have been drawn to textiles of all kinds since I was very small. At my core, I believe that making things by hand empowers people to live more joyfully and thoughtfully. I am constantly drawn towards a deeper understanding of materials and a fuller relationship with the natural world.

I teach nationally at folk schools and fiber arts events, and write for magazines like Taproot and PLY. I also share tutorials and thoughts online on Instagram (FrenchToastTasha), and at tashamillergriffith.com.
