Duluth Folk School Instructor Skyler Hawkins

Skyler Hawkins

Skyler fell in love with the world of craft while working and learning on farms across the globe. Whether woodworking on farms in New Zealand, making raw goat cheese in the mountainous olive groves of Catalonia, or shearing sheep in the Scottish Highlands, his inspiration is drawn from people who make what they need with the materials that surround them.

Now in the Twin Cities, he spends his days as a farmer, woodworker and book binder hoping to help others discover how empowering the act of making can be.
