Shirley Rhodes

Hi, I am Shirley Rhodes and I believe art can be a catalyst for building community, expanding our experiences, and expressing ourselves .
As an elementary school teacher, mother, community volunteer, storyteller and artist, I love opportunities which encourage people to gather, create, and connect.   As a master dabbler, I have explored a broad range of materials and methods. I love making art that energizes me and hopefully uplifts the people around me. Designing elevated art on a budget is my passion. Outside of the art world, I enjoy exploring the bike trails of Rochester with my husband  and planning our next traveling adventure.
Each one of us has a well of artistic energy just waiting to be tapped. I can’t wait to meet you and see what we can create together.
