Shelley Getten

Shelley Getten has been creating block prints since 2005, when she learned basic printmaking from Grand Marais artist, Kelly DuPre. Shelley has taken classes at Pineapple Arts, Grand Marais Art Colony and the DAI, and enjoys teaching what she knows at workshops and during the Lake Superior 2020 Studio Art Tour.

She loves sharing the joy of creating something new and believes it is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves and our youth. Her art can be found in the Dovetail Café and Marketplace, Two Harbors (Voyageurs) Art Center, Cedar Coffee Company and at her website, gettencreative.com.
