Shawna Mullen

I moved to Duluth in 2010 and like many Duluthians, I love being outside recreating during all four seasons of the year, and I often take my 7-year-old and our dog along on my adventures!

As a League Certified Instructor, I’ve been teaching bike education in Duluth for 4 years, and I commute by bike year-round. It is my passion to help empower people to overcome their hesitation when thinking about bike commuting.

When I’m not outside, you can likely find me doing crafts, something I’ve loved since childhood. When my mom won a “free” Creative Memories scrapbooking party (think the style of a Tupperware party!), I was certainly the youngest one there, at 9 years old, and I’ve been crafting away ever since.

From sewing, to paper-crafting, to figuring out how to use power tools, there’s nothing on Pinterest I won’t attempt to replicate in true DIY fashion!
