Sarah Chambers
My grandma taught me how to sew, and I have been sewing for as long as I can remember. I have been working in the industrial sewing industry for 6 years. At home, I sewed costumes, bags and apparel. My husband, son and I go to Rendevouz which are French fur trade era reenactments. I sew all of our clothing for this.
I got into quilting about 5 years ago but have completed several quilts for my nieces and my son. I have also designed quilts around a block pattern that I had made many many years ago with my grandmother but now could not find a pattern for. So far I have done all of my own quilting on my home machines. I recently got into the Vintage machines and now have quite a collection! I truly believe that vintage machines can be top notch. I love mine over most modern machines.
Aside from my family, my other loves are horses (we have four) painting, crocheting, knitting, leather carving and working on cars.
