Ron Yardley

Canning and preserving have been a part of my life since childhood. Many of my skills were passed down from grandparents and parents. Throughout the years, I have expanded my basic skills of fruit, vegetables, jellies and relishes to include soups, red meat, poultry, fish, wild game. Variations include sausage making, Jambalayas, smoked salmon and various soups and chilis. Dehydration techniques and vacuum packing are also important parts of my food preservation and canning interests.
