Madison Sabol

In early 2020, I moved to Duluth with my partner Joe (from Duluth) and our golden retriever, Waylon. It didn’t take long before I fell in love with this town, community, and place that I now call home. Professionally, I work for a Minnesota-based wine and spirits distributor whose portfolio showcases wine made by families, not factories. I have long loved wine, especially wine with an organic and/or biodynamic focus. Previously, I grew and made wine and cider in Vermont for a couple years and made cider in Minnesota. Growing food and fermenting is a passion of mine!

When I’m not sharing the stories of the producers in my wine portfolio throughout Northern Minnesota, I can be found in a canoe with Joe and Waylon, along a river with a fly rod, watching the sunrise at Brighton, gardening, fermenting things, or baking. Flowers, especially sunflowers and cosmos, are my favorite.
