Laura Berlage at the Duluth Folk School

Laura Berlage

I am a contemporary Renaissance woman living and working on my family’s century-old homestead farm outside Hayward Wisconsin. From fiber arts to creative writing, music to storytelling, I never grow tired of magic of transforming idea into form and overlapping narrative and visual. I also love working with the many and beautiful natural materials from our farm – especially the wool from our sheep.

I completed my MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at Goddard College in 2011, and since then I have been actively engaged in hands-on teaching with small groups to encourage creativity, imagination, and expression. I look forward to sharing that passion and dedication with you.
