Jenny Jensen

I caned my first chair when I was about 13 years old, at a community ed class that my mom signed me up for so I could “rescue” my grandma’s rocker. I used that rocker years later when my babies were tiny, and I started caning professionally around that time as well. Caning is something creative and fun to do, and you can do it at home. My kids are 11 and 13 now and I’ve continued caning through the years since then. I love to hear the stories attached to the piece or dining set, often a family heirloom or a great auction find.

When not caning, I organize tours to Costa Rica for families with kids through my company, Global Family Adventures.

Happy Travels!
