Grace Baker

Hi, I’m Grace! I’ve been working with clay for over seven years, ever since I first got my hands muddy in high school. Since then, I’ve worked in a local art studio, earned a degree in education, and eventually began my own pottery studio, Warm Earth Ceramics. I find endless inspiration in the natural textures and tones of the North Shore—earthy clays, soft greens, lake blues, and warm neutrals all find their way into my work.

I love both the rhythm of throwing on the wheel and the quiet, meditative process of handbuilding. For me, pottery is a way to slow down and connect—with the earth, with creativity, and with others. Teaching is a natural extension of that, and I’m passionate about creating a welcoming space where people can explore, play, and build confidence through clay.
