Chrissy Valento

I have been living in Duluth for over 32 years, and must be near that big lake! I have been an art teacher for over 25 years, and enjoy teaching immensely. My students inspire me each and every day, and I love what I do. Early on, I didn’t realize what an impact the arts made on my life.

My dad used to check famous faux paintings out of the public library, and he asked my sister and I to stand next to them while he took our picture. Back then, it was just a silly thing my dad did. Now I know that the arts have always been a huge part of my life. I am also very inspired by my two children and oh so creative husband.
