Duluth Folk School instructor Cassie Brown

Cassie Brown

Boozhoo! Hello! I have been teaching various styles of beadwork for about 15 years! I first learned how to do a stitch often called a DNA spiral from my tribal youth program and since then I have taught myself over 30 different beading techniques! Through beading I have found a way to connect with my culture while also helping others get in touch with their creative side and cultivate my own.

When I’m not beading you might find me biking, hiking, and backpacking with my adventure pup Kenai!
