Dave Pagel

Dave Pagel (UMD Geology class of ’83) has never worked a day as a geologist. But, as Dave likes to say, as a lifelong mountaineer, outdoor journalist, and outdoor advocate, he uses his degree almost every day. Dave is part of the organizational team and the host of Duluth 101, the Folk School’s new deep-dive lecture series focusing on diverse aspects of our incredible community.
