Judi Roux

I love to learn and this led to my biology and education degrees (B.A. from St. Olaf College, M.A. in Teaching from Mankato State University, and an Ed.D. in Teaching and Learning from University of Minnesota Duluth). I find lots of joy in sharing knowledge and skills with others and I’ve been an educator for over 30 years. I followed in the crafting and resourceful making of my mother and grandmother who cooked, painted, knitted, and crocheted whatever they could. I still enjoy baking and crocheting, with some sewing and painting added to the mix. I especially like to find new purposes for old discarded items.

I often work with my husband in DIY home projects like tiling bathroom showers, staining woodwork, and hanging cabinets or paneling. When we are not busy around the home, we hike or snowshoe on trails carved through our wooded backyard, kayak, and lounge with our adopted cats.
