I walked away from the flash and fluff of modern sporting gear, and settled in to classic textiles. As the owner of Empire Wool and Canvas, I don’t just sew. I build outdoor clothing for cold weather.

Wool, cotton canvas, and game leather are reliable, and worth maintaining. I play on those strengths, adding modern materials where they enhance the performance. My work and life blend perfectly into the background of our northern port city, on the edge of real winter.
