  • Intro to Screenprinting (Day 2 of 2)
     April 20, 2017
     6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

This class will teach you the basics of screen printing, and you’ll end up with over a dozen t-shirts that you made yourself!

You’ll learn how screen printing works, why it’s used and what makes it fun. You’ll learn about what equipment is needed, the ink, what t-shirts are best, and how to best pull a squeegee.

Before class, we’ll need you to send us a design of your own (if you don’t have one, we can help you choose something that you might like). We’ll create a screen of your design, and THAT is what you’ll screen print onto your shirts! You’ll start by practicing with Duluth Screen Printing and/or Duluth Folk School logos, and then move on to your own shirts.

When you’re done, you’ll get to keep your Duluth Folk School and Duluth Screen Printing practice shirts, and you’ll have TEN of your own custom shirts that you created yourself! These would be great gifts for friends, family, special occasions, or… ??
