Rag Rug Making
November 12, 2017
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Scandinavian loop weaving is a simple and durable technique that uses no thread or looms, and turns trash into treasure!
First you’ll learn how to make the repeating knot on a practice rug, then you’ll get started on your own rug. You won’t finish a rug during the class, but you will get through the hardest parts, and have a chance to practice starting a second rug to lock your new skills into your brain.
While supplies will be available for purchase at the class, most students prefer to bring their own old bed sheets or similar fabric that can be easily torn into strips. Two or three sheets in complementary colors will make an oval 2’x4’ rug. This easy, useful craft project is perfect for long winter nights, holiday and wedding gifts, and for keeping your toes warm!

Hi Laura.
Yes, I’m sure we will, although our next one might not be for a few months. Stay tuned!
I would like to get in on the next rug making class!
It’s a different style of rug making, but this class just opened up:
