Ostara Egg Dyeing Party

  •  March 26, 2023
     10:00 am - 11:30 am
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Family friendly! Kids and their favorite adults welcome! During this class, you will be using plant material to naturally pattern and dye eggs. It’s one of my favorite traditions with my own family, and I want to share it with you!

Ostara is one name for the celebration of welcoming Spring on the equinox. During the class we’ll talk about symbolism and tradition, and how to build your own traditions around things that are meaningful to you. For example, eggs and flowers are both symbols of Spring, so they’re perfect for this Earth-based, kid-centric activity.

Come learn how to use flowers and leaves to imprint unique designs on eggs, how to make and use natural dye from common kitchen items, and chat about building traditions that matter to you!

Registration Includes

Up to 6 naturally dyed eggs per person, plus the skills to do it on your own, and a new low-key hoarding instinct toward onion skins.

You should bring…

Natural dye comes out of clothes well if it’s not set, but just in case- wear clothes you can spill some dye on!

Skill Level

This class is for anyone

Best for Ages…
