Newspaper Weaving

  •  November 15, 2021
     6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

In this class, you will start with a stack of newspaper and a bamboo skewer, and end up with a beautiful newspaper bowl or basket!

We’ll be folding, tearing, rolling, and weaving with newspaper. The fun thing about learning this skill is that the materials are very affordable, so even if you make a mistake, it’s not that costly.

Registration Includes

Instruction and all materials.

Skill Level

No prior experience needed, but you will need a little bit of hand strength (Herculean strength is NOT required!).

You should bring…

If you have a stack of newspapers to bring (the equivalent of a single Sunday paper), that would be great. The newspaper can be full color or black & white, depending on how you want your project to turn out. Otherwise, we’ll have enough for everyone.

Best for Ages…

12 and older.

Previous feedback about this class…

“Fun and using a waste product to make something great!”

“I liked making something out a product most people throw in the recycling”
