Making Potato Lefse

  •  December 5, 2025
     6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Join us to learn the art of making potato lefse, the soft Norwegian flatbread! Using a potato based dough, you will learn to form the dough into a ball, roll out to a thin layer, and bake on a hot grill. You will learn the recipe and preparation as well as the equipment used and where to purchase it. You will take a stack of hot lefse home to eat, cool and freeze, or just donate the stack to the supply for the Lefse Run. Storage ideas and a Gluten Free recipe are available.

This class is offered thanks to a partnership with Duluth Folk School and First Lutheran Church with a portion of the proceeds going to support Safe Haven and their annual Lefse Run fundraiser. The Lefse Run will be held December 13 this year.
