Description

This is an introduction to writing poetry. We will cover the craft as well as the process of writing a meaningful piece. You will produce numerous poems during the course of the class. For students who are interested, there will be a subsequent class: ‘Creating a Chapbook,’ where you will create a chapbook for your poems. At the end of the class, you will recognize good poetic craft and apply it to your own work. You will create several poems.

Prerequisites

Age 18 and up. Basic computer skills (email, attachments).
