“What the heck is kombucha, and how do I make it??”

Kombucha and SCOBY

Okay, so you’re tired of paying $5 a bottle at the store and you want to make your own kombucha, right? Or maybe you don’t even know what the heck kombucha is, but someone told you it’s good for you and you want to learn more. If you answered, “Yeah!” to either one of those questions, then this is the class for you!

During this class you’ll learn the history of kombucha, what is it and where it comes from, as well as how to brew your own. This is a hands-on, interactive class that will take you through the different stages of brewing kombucha, flavoring your batches, and SCOBY maintenance. You will also leave with a kombucha starter kit that includes everything you need to brew your first batch at home. Plus, unlimited e-mail support with any questions you might have at any time during the brewing process.

Registration Includes

Participants will get to sample different flavors of kombucha, and will leave with a kombucha starter kit that includes: a jar to brew in, a SCOBY, starter liquid, fermentation jar cover, a growler to bottle your first batch, brew log, brewing instructions, two recipes, tea, sugar, and ongoing support via e-mail.
