Maiolica Ornaments with Karin

     5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Join Karin Kraemer from Duluth Pottery to learn how to decorate in Maiolica! Maiolica is a very old method of decorating pottery and tile. It has been used in many cultures, using local colorants and low fire clay that is abundant everywhere. Most clay makers used local clay to make pots for food and decorations.

In this class you will glaze a variety of pre-fired, ready to decorate ornaments. You will learn how to decorate in Maiolica, and get some great decorations for the season! The finished pieces will be fired overnight, and can be picked up in two days.
