Day 4 of 4
April 28, 2026
6:30 pm - 7:45 pm
Join us to learn Lindy Hop, a vibrant historical Black dance that developed in Harlem during the 1920s and 30s. In these classes, you’ll discover how to connect with the music of the era and learn the art of partnered dance connection and touch. (Don’t worry, fellow Midwesterners – we’ll ease you into it!)
Now that you have learned the basic steps it is time to embrace connecting to your dance partner! This class focuses on how we connect with our partner to reinforce and elaborate on concepts learned in the 6 & 8 Count Beginner classes. We will also be introducing new dancing vocabulary!
Registration Includes
Students will leave with mastery of Lindy Hop basics.
What goes into our class pricing? As a local nonprofit, Duluth Folk School is committed to supporting both our instructors and community. We want to compensate our instructors fairly, keep class sizes small, and keep our doors open—while also keeping prices as low as we can.
