Overview
Do you need a light weight knit hat for our crisp Northern summer mornings? In this class you will learn the rib and stockinette stitches, as well as how to decrease stitches. Already have the basics down? Knitters with some experience will learn the technique for Fair Isle knitting, utilizing two colors to form a pattern.
Goals
Students will leave with the skills to knit a hat, and depending on your speed, you could walk away with a complete hat!
Prerequisites
This class is designed for beginner to intermediate knitters, with appropriate challenges for both. Minimum age: 8 years old (ages 8 – 17 should be accompanied by an adult).

TBD per student covers registration for all four sessions, yarn, knitting needles, darning needles, and instruction.
Instructor Responsibility
1 skein of yarn per participant, scissors, knitting pattern
Participant Responsibility
You may bring your own knitting needles if you like, but you don’t need to bring anything.
