Draw a Rose with only 3 pencils

Draw a beautiful yellow rose using only three pencils. This class is an introduction to colored pencil but all skill levels are welcome. Through a series of demonstrations and step-by-step instructions you’ll learn to “paint” in this medium – layering and blending colors to create depth and volume - using only primary colors. The class includes a review of basic drawing principles, the fundamentals of color, plus opportunities to experiment with various techniques and tools.

Registration Includes

We will provide instruction and all materials, including artist-grade colored pencils, a graphite pencil, and a kneaded or white vinyl eraser. You’ll create a drawing you can frame or copy for notecards! You’ll also receive a list of resources and a color wheel reference for your future projects.

You should bring…

Just yourself! You’re welcome to bring your own colored pencils and other supplies, if you’d like.
