Hands on Clay – An Introduction to Pottery Wheel Throwing

  •  May 12, 2025
     5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

In this class you will learn  to successfully throw functional pottery on the wheel. Students will learn how to throw cylinder shapes (the foundation for mugs and vases) and different bowl shapes. Students will receive individualized assistance in technique from an experienced ceramicist.

You’ll have lots of time to play and experiment with throwing pottery on the wheel. Please note that this class is solely for getting your hands on clay and learning pottery throwing technique. Work will not be kept or fired in the kiln.

Registration Includes

Instruction and materials are included.  Students will not take their pottery work home. But they will gain valuable foundation skills to successfully make functional wheel thrown pottery for future classes.

I want to give my daughter in law your class as a gift what is the best way to go about this?

    • Lindsey Brockman says:

The easiest way to do that would be to register her for the class. If you include her contact information, she will receive all of the class communication. So if you would like it to be a surprise, register with your email and forward the communications to her.
