Cross stitch is a simple method of embroidery in which stitches are made in an X pattern on a gridded fabric to create patterns ranging from simple and blocky to detailed and elaborate. In this class you will learn how to select materials, tools, and patterns as well as the basics of cross stitch. After class you will be able to begin any project large or small on your own. In class you will receive beginner materials such as a hoop, fabric, needles, and thread. A variety of patterns will be available for you to choose from for your first project. We will begin projects in class for you to complete at home.
