Community Climate Leaders-Duluth cohort! The new Community Climate Leaders program from the University of Minnesota Extension aims to empower community members to enact change at the local level. Program participants will:

  • Learn how climate change is affecting their communities

  • Discover meaningful actions they can take now

  • Learn how to communicate about climate using your personal climate story

  • Learn how to become leaders in their communities

  • Learn from others already taking climate action across Minnesota

The program will run both online and in-person over eight weeks, with opportunities for skill building and relationship cultivation.

Join us as we bring the program to Duluth, Minnesota this spring! We’ll be hosting in-person sessions at the Duluth Folk School on Monday evenings from 5:30-8:00 on April 6, 20, May 4 and 18. Online learning will begin March 30th

Interested?

Register by March 16th to receive your copy of The Climate Action Handbook. Cost for the program is $200, which covers course materials (book, printed materials, snacks) and travel for instructors.
