School Programming

School Programming at Duluth Folk School

Let’s work together to bring handcrafting experiences to youth across our community! Whether it’s in the classroom, an after school or summer program, or with a scout group, we can plan the best option for your group.

Our youth programs are flexible and can be customized to your specific interests and circumstances. Classes typically run between 2-3 hours, and they can be adapted for most ages and group sizes. At the Duluth Folk School, we can accommodate field trips for small groups of up to 12 at this time, but many of our class options can be brought to you!

Some of the classes we offer include:

Block Printing
Nail & String Art
Handwoven Bookmark or Pouch
Paper Making
Felting
Hand-sewn Pouch
Fabric Coiled Basket
Stacking Block Puzzle
Build a Birdfeeder
Latchhook
