Duluth Folk School Instructor Claire Lande

Claire Lande

I am an emerging farmer and experienced beekeeper, trained in entomology and all things bees. I have been interested in gardening and insects as long as I can remember, and in 2014 began beekeeping and studying insects for money! Now, on our farm I grow native perennials for pollinators, manage several honey bee colonies, and grow nutritious fruits and vegetables. I am continually thinking about adding diversity and improving insect habitat, and encouraging others to do the same.
