In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to craft a sturdy and stylish wooden tote, perfect for carrying tools, gardening supplies, or other essentials. Designed with both function and form in mind, this project is an ideal introduction to basic woodworking techniques.
Over the course of the workshop, you’ll explore essential skills such as measuring, cutting, and assembly. We’ll cover a basic technique for creating rabbet joints, to make strong, durable connections. Whether you’re brand new to woodworking or looking to sharpen your skills, you’ll leave with a beautiful, handmade tote and some solid basic skills. Come ready to measure, saw, sand, and assemble your own custom tote while discovering how satisfying and fun woodworking can be!

Instruction and all materials are provided. You will go home with your own wooden tote!

You don’t need to bring anything but some students like to bring a notebook and something to write with.
