To The Letter: Linoleum Prints with Text

  •  November 23, 2019
     2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

During this class, you will learn how to create a holiday (or other occasion) image with words, and then transfer it onto a carving material. You will learn techniques to carve and print at least one soft linoleum block from which you will be able to make multiple prints the day of the class, and in the future. You will receive a handout with step by step instructions and resource list for materials. You are welcome to make more than one if you have time.

Registration Includes…

Instruction and all materials. You will go home with notecards (and envelopes) of their own creation. Your cards can have a customized greeting on the front to accompany your main image, and the block you create in class can be used to reproduce additional prints at home! If there’s time, you are welcome to make more than one block.

You should bring…

Ideas or images to draw from, and/or a printed-out greeting that you’d like to put on the front of the card you create (should be able to fit on a 4.25″ x 5.5″ space).
