In this class you will make your own puukko, the traditional Finnish general purpose belt knife.

Beginning with putting the handle on the blade, you’ll learn about several common handle designs, and take creative license to shape yours as you desire. After the knife is complete, you will learn how to make the traditional “scandi” style puukko sheath for it. This class with also touch on how to care for a carbon steel blade, so that your maasepän puukko will last for years to come.
