Winter is a great time to sit around the fire and create something with your own hands. Learning to carve spoons can be the beginning of a lifetime of making handmade items for yourself, or as gifts and tokens for your loved ones.

In this class, you’ll learn basic spoon carving methods as we carve a large or small spoon, or a coffee scoop. We’ll start with blanks, and make a simple spoon that can be embellished, if desired. Finishing techniques such as sanding and sealing will also be covered.

*Registration closes two weeks before class to allow time to order supplies
