Soft-Soled Leather Shoes

In this class, you’ll make a custom-fit pair of soft-soled leather shoes!
You will learn to make yourself a pair of leather slippers using your own foot tracings. You will measure and cut the paper pattern, then carefully cut the leather, and then learn to sew them up by hand.
Registration Includes
Instruction and all materials required. You will go home with either a full pair of completed leather shoes, or the instructions and necessary supplies to finish the pair you started in class.
Skill Level
No special skills are required, but you will be doing detailed hand sewing

18 and up
You should bring…
Bring small fabric- or leather scissors. People like to customize their own, but for this first pair, we’ll stick to simple designs.

They should not be calling these moccasins, they look like the pre-contact European shoe, but they should call it that or bring in a native teacher.
Markey Dwyer, they are not calling them moccasins, but rather leather slippers, leather soled slippers…what’s your problem why you have to make it hater situations…be kind or go away.
