Slow Jam

  •  February 5, 2019
     6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Bring your guitar, your ukulele, your fiddle, or your didgeridoo, and join us for a free Slow Jam!

Q. What’s a slow jam?
A. At a slow jam, all acoustic instruments (e.g., banjo, mandolin, bass, etc.) are welcome. The typical format is that we sit in a circle and play fairly well-known or easy-to-learn fiddle tunes at a slow to moderate pace. Local musicians will lead the group in which songs will be played.

We’ll play tunes at a slow to moderate speed. Slow jams are fun, and they can sometimes be challenging, but they’re a great way to improve your playing.

You don’t have to be a great player, play in tune, or even know the songs to join in!
