the Duluth Folk School and the Duluth Community Garden Program *
Join us for an evening of learning all the ins and outs of building your own rainwater catchment system from a 55 gallon barrel!
Participants will participate in building their own rain barrel, and will leave will complete directions and lists of resources to build more.
Come with your questions!
Instruction and all materials. By the end of class, you’ll go home with your own rain barrel which will be ready to connect to your home’s downspout.
No special skill required, but prior experience using a cordless drill might be helpful (but definitely not required).

You should bring…
Notepad and pencil, some people like to wear work gloves (not required). If you have your own cordless drill, feel free to bring it/them along.
* If you choose the “+ $10 DCGP Donation” registration option, the Duluth Community Garden Program will receive all $10 for programming support. The Duluth Folk School will be including this option for all DFS/DCGP co-presented classes this year, so the 10-15 people per class, multiplied by a year’s worth of classes could bring the DCGP important additional revenue.
